2010 Meeting Announcement and First Call for Papers

The South Carolina Fisheries Workers Association (SCFWA) and the South Carolina American Fisheries Society (SCAFS) announces that our joint annual meeting will be held at SCDNR Fort Johnson on Tuesday-Wednesday, February 9-10, 2010.

Please refer to the 2010 Meeting Announcement and First Call for Papers document for additional information about the meeting, a Paper Submission Form (Jan 15 Deadline), and Guidelines for Designing Posters. The Registration Form is also now available.

Accepting Nominations for 2009 Conservationist of the Year

The Conservationist of the Year Award recognizes outstanding contributions in the conservation of South Carolina fisheries resources. It is one of the most prestigious awards bestowed by the SC AFS Chapter. This award is generally presented each winter at the annual meeting. Nominations will be accepted until January 22, 2010. The Nomination Form is available with additional information.
